Legovlas: I still think Lyra obsessed with hands is bullshit. I mean, she already has more than enough hands even in Equestria - dragons, gryphons and even a Discord, who comes with 2 different hands.
Anonymous8(1): @Legovlas: Yeah. As if making her obsessed with humans based solely on her one single sitting pose wasn't enough of an asspull, the hand fetish is.
Anonymous9: I think Lyra being obsessed with humans is a nice change from everypony else being gay or into incest (or both), according fandom ofc. It's not like we ever gonna see a normal heterosexual pony/pony pairing lol.
Anonymous10(1): @Anonymous: Well, liking humans doesn't stop Lyra from being lesbian, as she is shipped with BonBon all the time.
Not to say the human passion is a bad fan trait to give a pony, it's just pinned to Lyra for random reasons. One could say Pinkie expresses much more interest in humans, always breaking the 4th wall and walking like a biped, and yet it's Lyra who got famous for in only because of one remotely human-like pose, even though all BG ponies do humany things on a regular basis.
And the hand thing is even more random and ungrounded.
Anonymous11(2): The human passion comes from more than just that one scene. Lyra has some odd behaviors for a unicorn. And Discord, griffons, and dragons have claws, not quite hands.
Legovlas: @Gomenasai: More or less what I tried to say. Same thing with Celestia and her (according to fandom) unsatiable lust for banishing things on the Moon. She just can't do that, because she's not holding Elements of Harmony anymore. But hey, if fandom wants to believe in all this stuff, I am not gonna stop them.
@Anonymous: They use them regularly the same way as humans use their hands.
@Anonymous: Hey, I completely forgot about Iron Will.

In any case, it's funny, so relax.
