Anonymous21: The lack of knowledge on the Mgalekgolo (Hunters) is annoying. The Mgalekgolo were discovered by the Covenant in 784 BCE during the first Ages of Conversion. The Covenant, (only made up of Sangheili and San 'Shyuum at the time) found a ring of ruble rich with Forerunner artifacts around the world "Te" which also held many Forerunner artifacts. Upon further acquisition, it was found that colonies of worms had devoured massive Forerunner installations. The Lekgolo were difficult to defeat because in battle, they formed together into pairs of massive creatures called "Mgalekgolo" and if the colonies were killed, the relics would crumble. It was found that some of the colonies did not eat the relics, and allied with the Covenant and eradicated the non-compliant colonies. This was called "The Taming of the Lekgolo", an event were an Arbiter was used. After which, the Lekgolo colonies left were signed into the Writ of Union the same year. The individual Lekgolo were later used to explore crevices and spaces that other species were unable to traverse through. The other colonies were used for combat in their Mgalekgolo forms then fitted with armor and weapons that the other races are too weak to carry. In combat, the Mgalekgolo are always in pairs, use heavy fuel rod cannons, a large nearly impenetrable shield, and enormous strength. They believe most losses on the field (other than fellow Mgalekgolo of course) are acceptable although they are tactically brilliant and unflinching in combat. This is why other Covenant clear out when Mgalekgolo are deployed. They believe themselves to be better than all the races of the Covenant including Sangheili and San 'Shyuum, but do not openly say so.

@Anon14, you do know that you tried to correct someone, and then got corrected so hard by me, you may piss yourself. Lekgolo form Mgalekgolo when in combat, not when they grow to big. Also, worm or eel are more fitting terms than 'organism'.

@Anon12, read up on lore you self before correcting people, moron.
