MindGasmYT: @Anonymous: I despise that that's the first place someone's mind goes to when they see a race swap character, you'll see a black Deku or Anya and no one bats an eye! It's either OK both ways or not at all. Any bigotry perceived is on you. Hope this clears things up.
Anonymous4(1): @MindGasmYT: I don’t like race swapping in general cause it just leads to needlessly pointless arguments like this, why change a character’s appearance so drastically that they almost look entirely different, if the artist wanted to draw a blonde white skinned character well Sasha (and literally any other character) is right there. I’m Hispanic but I love characters like Luffy from One piece, Luz from Owl House and Luigi from Nintendo. I don’t like them cause they’re the same ethnicity as me, I don’t like them cause I relate to them, I like them cause of their personality or their story & character development or simply I just like their design. So when someone draws them in a way that makes them look completely different I get weirded out, just why? What is this need to take a beloved character and race swap them and still claim that it’s still the same character? They’re perfectly fine the way they are, why bother race swapping when you could just pick a different character or just make your own?
