Anonymous1: I really do wish Dana was just slightly more interesting of a character like Max or Mel. All she’s really given to do is be the perfect and patient girlfriend. I mean it’s nice that she’s understanding about how busy her boyfriend is, never cheats on him, is willing to wait and takes his secret double life and keeping her in the dark and lying to her for so long as well as she did. I think McGinnis actually lucked out really well nailing a girl like her down but she doesn’t even really feel like a person with her own life, wants, goals, things she’s got going on and more like just the love interest. She’s nice and wants to spend more time with her BF. The most you’ll probably get from her is temporary break up and relationship drama so that Terry will bump into another girl for a while or the damsel that needs saving trope which you can do with Chelsea or just about any girl. For practicality’s sake, Terry really should’ve just been single in the first place and had friends instead which his job and being the man of his house might estrange him from. Then he could just meet girls without it seeming like he’s cheating or doing Dana dirty.
