Anonymous1: Man, do I miss a more classic Marvel. With the long hair, slightly sexier outfits and a personality that doesn’t make her almost unlikeable.
Anonymous2(1): @fonyanon: Considering that comics don’t sell like they used to and the fact that keep trying to push Danvers to the forefront with little success, I’m willing to bet you your life savings that plenty of people care.
appealus: @Anonymous: She wasn't ever a big seller except as a part of the Avengers. I doubt the new costume and more stoic personality has much to do with it.
Anonymous3(1): @appealus: A lot of bad decisions were made with her. Putting her on the slightly more antagonistic side of two civil wars for example. Her appearance although a minor factor probably didn’t help her much or do her any favours. Her total stubbornness and complete lack of humility however is pretty damaging. And it’s not like you can’t take something lesser known or unpopular and give that a boost. I recall a lot of people surprised by how well Guardians took off
appealus: @Anonymous: Never said unpopular things can't get a boost, but I can get the rest. Fans acting like changing her costume is the death of her character is the part that gives me a case of the WTFs.
