Anonymous1: Pal comix is ripping off webcomics now? I've never gotten how artists like Pal Comix can legally sell pornographic drawings of things they don't hold the copyright to, not that this applies here as they're both fan characters but still.
Anonymous2(1): Parodies yes, but not through using their characters to make a profit. I haven't exactly seen anything I would call a parody, and the fact he's making a profit with it is also kinda suspect.
Anonymous10: Anon2: Actually, parodies are allowed to be direct ripoffs and profitable. It's part of why spoof movies are allowed to be made and Wierd Al Yankovic can make albums.
Anonymous11: Correct Biggerstaff. Years ago, Al said that Paul McCartney said NO to a parody of "Live & Let Die" called "Chicken Pot Pie", because Paul & Linda were vegetarians. Prince wouldn't allow him to do a parody of ANY of his songs.
