Krawczyk: I think the second movie did well enough a job of that!
Oh yeah.
I went there.
You ought to see the second movie as it so annihilates the source material its like the most expensive trolling effort evar.
And it doesn't even keep MOVIE continuity, Peter pretty much becomes an epic immature middle-of-puberty hormone ridden dumbfuck in between the first and second movies.
Anonymous1: This was the worst movie ever made. My roomate asked y I hated it, and maybe some shit down the line of 10 year olds wielding swords and owning midgets in sword combat, just is a big pile of crap to me.
HbA: Also, to a lesser extent than anti-theism (the active opposition to theism), many regular atheists may hold a strong opinion, for whatever reason, of there being no God/s. They may also have strong faith in science, evolution, etc to the point where they may believe that something does not exist unless proven otherwise through science.
So yes, atheism itself, even short of anti-theism, can be followed with 'religious' devotion to some extent, in my opinion :P
HbA: And considering that jackrabbit calls the themes of the series 'religious horseshit', I'd be willing to bet he's either an anti-theist, or holds to an atypical form of spirituality which is opposed to established religion
I also have seen many atheist that refuse to listen to any argument against Darwin's theory of evolution. No matter if their are good points made against it. They won't even entertain the idea that it could be at least partially wrong.
At that point, your talking about someone that is not looking at the facts alone, but has instead made up their mind on what they want to believe and will ignore and deny anything that goes against there ideas. Something they bash religious people for doing.
Ironylol: @Anonymous: The best argument I have heard is the complexity argument about the eye, but that is more like appealing to the fact of lack of knowledge then it is evidence against what we DO know.
We DO know for 100% fact genetic change happens with time, if we have yet to prove how the eye evolved or some other "complex" thing that does not show that we were wrong about everything else.
As opposed to Christianity where your god is all powerful.... yet cannot make a rock he himself cannot lift it? ;)
Anonymous14: it's funny 'cause we were really tube-babies created by the aliens that ancient Sumerians served; right up until they gave us better domesticated livestock and beer before shoving off to observe their science project from afar

Also, I agree with Nz as well.
Let me guess, your one of those people that hates religion, but you follow atheism with a religious devotion?
Atheism isn't a followable belief, it's the lack thereof. So stop being a cunt and enjoy the wanking.

Well said HbA.
