@Anonymous: I'm going to assume you're Eggtimer himself since no one else with any taste would ever defend him or his shitty edits. The truth hurts, dude. Suck it up. Go on Ebay and buy a cheap copy of Photoshop7 (ask your mother first) that needs no registration to use, then download Inkscape for making easy, clean lines with the Bezier tool, or use the Paths tool on PS for prettier, more customizable lines, either one. MS Paint is NOT the way to go for image editing, not if you want any quality on them. I've only known one artist (used to be on the old WWOEC forums) that could make anything decent with MS Paint, but he worked in such large scale with it (5000 to 8000 pixel size images) that when they were shrunk down to average size for viewing, they were hi-res and crisp looking. Wish I could remember his name.

Well, I guess you're adding to the community, about the same way a drug dealer adds to the community by spending the money he makes selling drugs at stores in his neighborhood. Like Jab of JabComix fame once said: "Don't put anything out on the internet that you can't look upon and have some pride in how it looks.". Look, I know I ride you on your half hearted edits, but some of them like that Cilia pic on GP375's page kinda deserved it. That pic should have never seen the light of day the way it was just thrown together. Get some practice with the programs I suggested, THEN when you think the artists themselves would like the edited pic you made, post the pic.

But, I still take pride in them because I can look upon them and see them as stepping stones. Bad, cracked stones, but stones nonetheless. You are right to criticize, and I do apologize with the quality of some edits I have made. Maybe before doing more, I should fix the broken ones, to make them better.

You're doing it for the "Hey! Look at me! Look at me! I made something." attention factor and not out of respect to the original artist's hard efforts. 5 year olds do that.
Whatever you're making the lines with, it makes stark, jagged, aliased lines that noticeably contrast with the original antialiased artwork and detract from it, plus they rarely match the thickness of the original lineart. And what is that you left there on aqua girl's upper right arm? And GP375's pic, you could have erased the head from the original pic GP made and drawn a round female stick figure head on the leftover neck and it would have looked on par with the conspicuously mismatched, cropped Cilia face and hair you put on it. Good job? Nope! Rushed, half done, impatient attention seeking work. And as far as the upvotes.... well, there are a LOT of inexperienced, easily fascinated junior high students who are just starting to experiment with their grandparent's stolen illicit painkillers that come here.
