Anonymous2: @Mastersword88: Actually he's right, why pair that cat girl with someone from a dead show? RWBY's soul is gone and well, that means it's dead
Anonymous4: @Mastersword88: Well because first of all your an oversensitive bitch-wad and thats what attracts them, secondly people such as myself don't like being reminded that their favourite show has devolved into a worthless rushed uninteresting poorly written pile of garbage, it's kind of the same as seeing a picture of a dead loved one
Anonymous5(4): @Mastersword88: Considering how shit everythings been in RWBY recently, you can bet your ass the endings going to be fucking awful, I've already bet mine. Seriously if #RWBYDevilsDue doesn't save this beloved show nothing will
Anonymous9(4): @Anonymous: I don't hate it, in fact I love RWBY, but like I said "People don't like being reminded that their favourite show has devolved into a worthless rushed uninteresting poorly written pile of garbage"
Anonymous12(4): @Anonymous: The animation and arguably the music have steadily improved through volumes 1 to 5, everything else, from fight scene choreography, villain intelligence, plot, interest, characters, character designs (Whoever thought the design for the spider girl was ok can actually go fuck themselves), and time given to the writers and animators has all gone to absolute shit. Cinder has devolved into a worthless bumbling idiot (And I mean shes fucking STUPID now), Salem is painfully boring and uninteresting, the plot has become predictable and uninteresting, pretty much everything they introduce is completely worthless. The Grimm are boring (especially that FUCKING Nuckelavee from Volume 4, all the characters do is talk and whine, every episode ends with a goddamn cliffhanger, everything is explained through dialogue and I could go on and on.
Please believe me when I say it breaks my heart more than anyones to see this show go so downhill, and that is why as a devoted fan of RWBY I beg to every fucking God that has ever existed in any fucking religion ever that #RWBYDevilsDue actually happens, Devils Due fixes every single flaw with RWBY that has ever existed, and then some. Not only will it make Rooster Teeth a lot of money, but the things that will be done after the show ends with Devils Due will be AMAZING!
RWBY The Hexer is the lovechild between The Witcher 3, Monster Hunter and RWBY, all in one huge open world RWBY game, with all new plot, tones of new lore, new Grimm, awesome gameplay. Honestly it's not even started yet and I'm already hyped! RWBY The Hexer will put RWBY as a franchise on the map for GOOD, and will be the best game in years, and thats not even including the 4 expansion packs that all add whole games worth of new content. AND the creator of Devils Due and The Hexer wants the game to support modding, and it's engine will be very easy to code in hopes of birthing a large modding community that will add EVEN MORE stuff to do!
I'm telling you dude, if #RWBYDevilsDue happens, not only will it save the show, but it will do SO MUCH MORE! I'm sick of hearing something new about RWBY Volume 5 and thinking "It can't get any worse!", Devils Due will bring the hype, the love, the soul back to RWBY. And as a devoted fan I am unbelievably hyped for it.
Mastersword88: So I'm guessing Anon4 was the author of some shitty fanfic that he was trying to advertise by tearing down my commissioned art and RWBY itself.
Mastersword88: @Deskjet23: Sarge: Well I disagree, but I respect your opinion.
Seriously, the writing in Volume 9 was such horse shit. Yang & Blake looked like horrible self-centered assholes when it came to that God-awful kiss scene. The dialogue between them in that legit gave me cringe-poisoning.
Deskjet23: @Mastersword88: The writing of Blake and Yang's "romance" has always been dogshit, this isn't exclusive to Vol 9. And other than that the rest of the volume was pretty solid. They finally did something with Ruby, the setting was a nice breath of fresh hair and having only the main cast (+ Jaune and Neo) appear in it saved us from jumping between five different subplots without resolving any of them. We didn't get many fights this time but those that we got were pretty dope, and the music was genuinely the best this series has ever gotten, except for maybe Volumes 1 & 2. As much as I love Jeff's score it did start to feel a bit stale in later volumes, Casey finally brought some uniqueness and novelty to it.
It ain't the best volume by any means, personally I'd put it somewhere in the middle. It definitely isn't worse than Volume 5 though, that one was a fucking snorefest, with characters doing nothing but standing around and talking, even during the "big" final battle. The only cool parts of that volume were the duel between Raven and Cinder and those 10 or so seconds of Sun finally getting to use his gunchucks again.
Mastersword88: Again, I gotta disagree. If what Volume 9 was the best they could do with Ruby, I'd have preferred they not do anything at all with her. The dogshit writing wasn't limited to Bumbleby in Volume 9. Ruby's depression was almost unnecessary if her team paid the slightest attention to her. She set a crimson flag prior to visiting the red prince. "Then we can follow the story and stop pretending to know what we're doing." The Herbalist house was also a masterpiece of failure considering how they had the perfect opportunity to address past fuck-ups and issues that Team RWBY had been dealing with. Whether it being Blake forgetting her fight against Faunus racial prejudice, Ruby's trust issues destroying Atlas, Yang questioning Blake's loyalty or acknowledging her neglecting Ruby, or Weiss wondering what she's even fighting for anymore. Instead we got Blake asking if she wants to be a cat, and calling herself the bridge between humans and Faunus (funny how this self-proclaimed bridge swept legit proof of human cruelty to the Faunus under the rug by killing Adam and never bringing up the branding on his face.) It's also kind of disgusting how Yang acted towards Ruby at the time of her meltdown. Blake also acted like a spineless damsel in the face of Ruby's meltdown. Team RWBY were also being dicks to Jaune when he had an actual plan, but that seems to be a worrisome trend if Ironwood was anything to go by. The writing couldn't even keep Ruby's trauma consistent. Initially she can't even touch Crescent Rose, but then she's suddenly capable of fighting with it against Neo? Going back to Yang, she blames Ruby for not telling them about her problems, barely reacts to Ruby offing herself, and doesn't hesitate to punch a mirror clone of Ruby, showing that she has no guilt over what happened to her little sister/surrogate daughter. It's also disgusting how they portrayed Ruby offing herself as a good thing in the long run with that ascension bullshit.
Deskjet23: @Mastersword88: Well, different strokes for different folks I guess. I actually agree with some of your points, but in others you're either missing the point (in my opinion!) or blowing things out of proportion. Like Yang seemingly having no reaction to Ruby's "death" - there's definitely this weird tonal shift after leaving Neo's mansion and going back to Jaune's village, apparently due to some scenes getting cut or whatever bullshit excuse CRWBY came up, but after that Yang tried to literally pry Ruby out of the tree and showed genuine concern for her. And really, out of all the things wrong with Yang this volume you're bringing up her punching the clone? The Cat summons a zombified illusion of her sister (times three) right in front of her, she freaks out and punches it so it disappears. How else was she supposed to react?
There are other things I disagree with and normally wouldn't mind discussing them further, but let's get real we're on a porn site. And even with all the flaws Volume 9 has it was still better than 5 lol. Imma die on that hill.
