Anonymous4(2): @Anonymous: Wrong. You seem to think that the term "Mary Sue" just refers to female characters in general. It doesn't. Katara wasn't automatically good at bending at the start of the series. She studied under different masters to develop her skills. Now an ACTUAL Mary Sue couple would be like Rey and Milla Jovovich's character from those shitty Resident Evil live action movies.

Anonymous6: Does no one know what a Mary Sue actually is? It's when a content creator inserts themselves into the story and just make the story about them being great and awesome... I'm pretty sure J.J. Abrams is male so by definition Rey isn't a marry sue...

Anonymous7: Marry Sue = A character that is flawless and great at everything. Any problem they come in contact with will be dealt with almost immediately. They're basically low level Goddesses.
