Anonymous2: darwin is black lol but i guess you can interpret characters however tho
i feel like the watersons are mixed, richard being white and nicole being black
all the characters in the show are really diverse and different it makes more sense if they would be different races n shit if they were people.

First of all, I already know that but he's just a voice actor, not DARWIN ITSELF. Since Gumball voice actor is blonde, why isn't Gumball realistic version blonde too?? That makes as little sense as making Darwin black.
Anyway I find it fun and good to see a black Darwin, but why should this be a canon when he is A PET FISH WITH LEGS???
Are we assuming attractive and successful Africans are pets, fishes, or fishes with legs? o.O?
As for the last comment... Nicole is black?? How's that??? If anything, their father is more likely black, he got black-er features than his wife!!
Darwin is black? Ah... Mh I guess I am daltonic as I see him ORANGE. Orange, I repeat. O-R-A-N-G-E
When did africans start becomin organe o.O
Besides, all characters are indeed different races, and THEY'RE NOT HUMANS because of it. Nice idea but Richard is a human sized bunny and his wife is a CAT, not a blACK. They're diverse because they're not human:
goblins, playmobils, fishes with legs, baloons, a piece of sheet, a minuscule diplodocus, cactuses, teddy bears.. etc
They're already persons, and last but not least, humans have just two different skin colors, from white to black. How is making the characters black, latino and caucasian much of a diversity when the show already has blue, pink, green, white, grey, black, etc characters???
Cihsk: @Anonymous: INTRODUCING APPLE 2, THE EASY-TO-OPERATE HOME COMPUTER! JUST HOOK IT UP TO YOUR TV TO CREATE DAZZLING COLOR DISPLAYS! OR YOU CAN BALANCE YOUR CHECKBOOK! KIDS CAN TEACH THEMSELVES ARITHMETIC, OR THE FAMILY CAN INVENT THEIR OWN PONG GAMES! THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS! IT'S CALLED APPLE 2, THE PERSONAL COMPUTER!
Bloden: @Mktuputamadre: You're talking about a show with anlropomorthic animals, inanimate object leading mundane lives, and basically every other type of character, be it fantastical, prehistoric, futuristic, symbolic, etc. What we think about how the characters are racially classed in terms of their universe means nothing. But we CAN debate whether these same characters, turned into humans, would be in one racial group or another. It's as easy as using the racial group their voice actors are included in, which is what half of this comment sections is talking about, or the racial groups of the people who initially inspired the characters, which you COULD do, but that might be a bit more complicated.
