Anonymous1: He does get murdered with a hacksaw in the end of the series. They couldn't air the finale on the day it was scheduled because there was a similar murder. Instead they aired half an hour of boats. Just boats sailing, and nothing more. That's where the meme "Nice Boat" originated back in the day.
