Daroga7: I edited the mask for myself because i really hate how the artist decided to put a face on a mask when there is no need to. The rest of the picture is pretty good tho
Demimond23: @Daroga7: Hmm, to be honest that's an unexpected reaction to me. I'm not going to dispute tastes or something, to each their own of course. And I guess in hindsight I should have expected this reaction. More specifically her face. I really loved it, I found it weird, confusing and unexpected that there's such a lack of human face lamb on the internet, since it always(well, ever since Kindred got revealed) rubbed me the wrong way that wolf had a face, while lamb looked like a mindless puppet. Which, combined with that female voice, kinda creeped me out and felt unsettling(I guess that was uncanny valley moment for me, funny enough). Which isn't bad or anything, I liked it, but I just liked human face lamb more. A ghastly mask might fit the theme of the character better since Kindred is symbolic of a grim reaper and therefore creepy character portrayal is a good designing choice, but I personally just found no appeal in her original form. Hence why I drew this.
Again, tastes differ, I'm just explaining my reasoning for drawing this, which, funnily/ironically enough, is the thing people seem to dislike the most. It's not that there was a need to change her mask, it's just that it was driven by personal preference, which I guess is what artist supposed to do at the end of the day. I might do the original mask edit later if people really hate how it looks, but I make no promises. It was a personal thing afterall, not a commission/trade.

Anonymous3: @Demimond23: I can totally understand wanting to make something align with your personal preferences. As an artist, it is your right to draw what you want how you want. However, not everyone will like it. I am one of those people, but I respect your choice to make her with the face-like mask. If you do choose to make an edit of her I will happily favorite that one on HF.
Demimond23: @Anonymous: Sure, I'm not arguing about having different taste - as I've said in my first comment, to each their own. I just found the face subject to be worth commenting on, especially since, ironically, the thing that seems to be the least liked by people is the one that made me want to draw Kindred in the first place. I'll make a classic lamb mask alt later today\tomorrow.
