The_Real_34: Check out the chrome web store for an apng app. Didn't know about apng until recently, but it seems all around better than gif.

The_Real_34: I agree.
Pixiv uses javascript to string together jpegs/pngs to make an animated image. Convert them to gif, it get compressed. Covert them to webm, it can't be uploaded here.
So the best thing, for now, is to upload them as apng. Personally I'm hoping the format grows.
