Yet_One_More_Idiot: @MooBs: The context is following up on a fic I had commissioned where Lisa and Bart travel back in time to 1968, fall in love with their parents, and choose to stay there. If you're on the WWOEC forum and check out the writer's wing, the story was written by Lennox and is called "Somewhere In Time". :)
Damnboy0204: @Yet_One_More_Idiot: I actually always thought that he was the guy who had a crush on Lisa from the Simpson movie, since young homer looks like him
Yet_One_More_Idiot: @Damnboy0204: You thought this was meant to be Lisa and Colin (from the movie)? Nice guess, but no. I do wish they'd give Lias a nice long-term boyfriend. Basically, anything to give the show some continuity and let the characters grow up in fact. :)
MooBs: @Yet_One_More_Idiot: Not dumber than the new ones. But don't you dare insult the old seasons. Also: I just hate fiction. I always end up with fanfiction authors as friends and they end up as total psychos who live in their own world and creep me out. I think fanfic is generally terrible. But hey, if people like Gary Stu and time travel, maybe I should reconsider drawing a webcomic. (To be clear: The art is great!)
Also, if you're on WWOEC, what happened to Jimmy? :P He owes us 1 year of art.
Yet_One_More_Idiot: @MooBs: Oh, you've got a fair point there, the earlier episodes were MUCH better. :) But there's something to be said for going off on a tangent and making your own fanfiction, you can write whatever stories you feel like (and the show has really gone downhill, so it's considerably more appealing than it used to be), and none of it's canon so there's no need to argue over the validity of it. I don't know about other people, but I enjoy time travel stories (when did Gary Stu come into the conversation though? Young Homer is still a canon character). Perhaps you should reconsider drawing a webcomic? :) (Glad you like the art at least! :D)
I have no idea what's happened to Jimmy, he pops up (very) occasionally with a new picture or 2, but that's all. I think real life and artist's block prevent him from doing more.
Lester_The_Molester: Very well done piece. I like how you got the feel of the early 1970's in there and your balllwork is particularly nice and fits well with the style.
Yet_One_More_Idiot: @Lester_The_Molester: Actually, @culprate is right, it's 1969! (the lunar landing on the telly there). Thank you for the kind comment about the artwork, Arabatos drew this on request by me. :)
Anonymous1: But... if they time travel and get in love with their parents... they would never exist, so... they couldn't travel in time, what would make them exist again and...
Anonymous2: Arabatos is getting better, but as the old hippie said in the episode... "SIMPLIFY, MAN!"
If you can't tell what the bodies are doing in silhouette, it's going to be a difficult read. A lot of tangents in this design, too. It's hard to tell what's going on at first glance... which limbs belong to which body, etc.
That said, far better than most in terms of the drawing skill.
Yet_One_More_Idiot: @Anonymous: To be fair to Arabatos, the pose was all my idea in the description I sent him when I commissioned this piece. xD And he was certainly up to accepting the task (that's what Lisa said about Homer, too! ;D).
Anonymous6(4): Any chance for a picture of time-travel Bart with younger Marge (with her hair down)? I think time-travel Bart with Marge makes more sense as a pair.
Anonymous8(4): @Anonymous: Sorry, this is my first time commenting on this website, and kind of messed up. I was the guy asking about the Bart/Marge pairing, and I wanted to ask you. Thanks in advance for any response.
There's definitely a chance I might commission a Bart/Marge pic to go along with this at a later date - but I focussed on Homer/Lisa this time because it was for the WWOEC forum's "Lisafest" celebration, which happens every year at this time. :D
Yet_One_More_Idiot: @Anonymous: I can indeed link to it on another site, I re-upped it a while ago when the WWOEC closed down. ^^

Anonymous14: - There is definitely way too much "OVER THINKING" here on a fantasy subject not bound by reality or physics. It just is what it is in the eyes of the beholder. Main objective in
porn toons is erotica.
Yet_One_More_Idiot: Everytime I tried to re-up the story on various sites, it would get struck down for going against the TOS in some way. It's now hosted completely on DA:
