Thumper: it's not the OC; it's because they use real characters to justify their OC. the fake brings down/devalues the actual. the designs generally suck, too.

You've just gotta scan your eyes over it and you'll spot a million anatomy errors, and to make things worse it features a self insert fursona.

Instead of trying your hardest to delude yourself you could maybe go and study some anatomy outside of terrible DeviantART guides.
