Using the count is easier anyway. It's right there on the pic. You don't have to call up the thumbnails just to find out how many pages there are.
The one gotcha is the same tag used for multiple characters (such as first name only). To get a true count, you have to search for "name fandom" and then calculate the number of pics based on the current page size.
