fishmonger: @Dick_Chappy: It's not a rimshot. It might commonly be referred to as a rimshot, but it's incorrect. A rimshot is when the drumstick hits the head and rim of the drum at the same time. The "ba dum tss" that people refer to as a rimshot is called a sting.
