traffik: @soraxrikulover: If you're going to upload, learn how to tag. Terms like "jacking off" are not valid tags here. Don't tag pics of Kaito with "shion" here. It's fan-generated, not canon. And tag the series as well as the character.
soraxrikulover: @traffik: look I was just in a hurry and I didn't remember how to tag properly and I realize that I should have looked it up but there is no reason for you to be so rude to me over a simple miss tagged picture besides this is my first time uploading to the site and your just being a total bully about it if it bothers you then don't look at the picture anymore but your so rude!
fishmonger: @soraxrikulover: That's not correctly tagged at all. I'd fix it, but I'm more curious to see how this little spat turns out, so I'll leave it with the incorrect tags for the moment.
soraxrikulover: I honestly am not gonna continue this but I will say that the site said since this character doesn't really have a last name that I shouldn't tag the series on it. That is against the rules which obviously you didn't know that.
traffik: @soraxrikulover: Oh, you're one of those. OK, I'll go through your numerous replies one by one.
1. Let's face it. It isn't that you "didn't remember how to tag properly", it's that you never knew in the first place. You uploaded without having read the rules first, even though there's a message on every page of thumbs that reads: "New to Paheal? First time uploading? Please read the rules and FAQ first!" But even without having read the rules, you probably should've known that 'jacking off' was not a valid tag, just through observation of how other pics are (and perhaps just as importantly, aren't) tagged. Everybody should read the tagging rules before posting. But the truth is, if you're paying attention and have even a modicum of ability to absorb knowledge, you shouldn't really even need to.
2. No, you didn't fix it. I fixed it, and then you messed the tags up. Again. Finally, it took a third person (RinH) to come in and re-fix what you'd done. The proof of this is right behind the 'View Tag History' button over in the left margin. It shows all the changes made to the tags on the pic, with the oldest one at the bottom and newest one at the top. Just so you know that when you say you fixed it, anyone who clicks on that can see that that isn't true.
3. Finally, re: "the site said since this character doesn't really have a last name that I shouldn't tag the series on it". You have that all wrong. What you read was someone saying that people are not supposed to tag a character like this: "Kaito_(Vocaloid)"-- so that the character and series are linked together by an underscore. You're always supposed to tag the series. It's done like this: "Kaito Vocaloid", separated by a space instead of an underscore, so that they go in as two separate tags.
You know what? The funny thing is, my original comment to you wasn't really that rude. It was curt, yes, but I didn't insult you. The closest I came to being rude was to say, "If you're going to upload, learn how to tag". But guess what? That is exactly what you're supposed to do, without having to be told by another site user! It's good, valid advice, and all you've done is prove it correct by further demonstrating that you don't know what you're doing. If you want to talk about rude, I'd argue that it's more rude to be the one who actually did something wrong, but act like "How dare you call me out on it". The correct response is "My bad, I'll try to do better next time." Unless your reply consists roughly of that, don't even bother.
soraxrikulover: @traffik: ok like I said im not going to keep arguing the point so this is the last time I will say this, I did try to take your advice but the way you went about giving me the advice was rude in my opinion so I got mad but im so over that anyway and I did actually forget because im on this site a lot but I only have read the rules twice in all my time of visiting this site so your assumption about me having never read the rules is incorrect. And this was my first time uploading to the site so I made a little mistake. And I never said that you telling me I did this wrong was what I was mad about so you assumed that too. What made me mad was how you told me that I had made a mistake by saying if your gonna tag the learn to do it properly. You are correct that it wasn't the rudest thing you could have said but it was rude nonetheless. And true I didn't totally fix it but I made it better at least than what it had been. But thank you for fixing it so it was correct and sorry for making this a big deal that wasn't my intention so can we just not fight its kinda stupid to get in a fight especially over this. And I didn't put this on here to get a person to start a fight with me I put it on here to showcase my talent in art though this isn't even the best that I could draw. So im done arguing and fighting with you its beneath both of us to act like that to each other.
sariaxlink123: @traffik: Traffik I would just like to point out that your a huge asshole! why couldn't you just be idk NICE and say that soraxrikulover has either a good looking picture but you might want to fix that tag to be correct or idk it could be a wow you could have done better, but something nice first then nicely say maybe you could fix the tag because it is incorrect. I really hate people like you who go on others pictures and do nothing but criticize! I happen to really like this picture they drew. I looks beautiful and the highlights are gorgeous it's certainly different and I want soraxrikulover to make more even. keep drawing on soraxrikulover don't let this self riteous ass bring you down!
