I feel the artists use of the more detailed or defined facial features only took away from their faces, they looked more wrinkled or aged, and the chins added to the "manlyness". So I removed a lot of the definition from the faces, which IMO was taking away the smoothness of a females face. and made Izzys face a smidgen smaller.
I can see what the artist was going for with more detail, but I thought it was doing more harm than good.
Comixfan: @CommanderShepardlol: While I think it's rather shitty to basically take someone else's work and change it to "correct mistakes", at least you put your money where your mouth is instead of just bitching that it "...looked like crap..." or somesuch.
I've always been of the mind that if you can't do better, don't complain about someone else's work. Still, would have made more sense and been a little less douchebag-ish if you had just done your own Art piece instead of "fixing" Multiverse's. To be fair, that's just my opinion on the matter.
CommanderShepardlol: @Comixfan: Oh man, I sure feel bad about changing this art that uses copyrighted characters.
You're right, no one should complain at all, ever. That way artists will never improve on themselves, lets just censor everything.
I didn't know critique was bitching, my bad. I stated what I saw, in my opinion, to be unnecessary details that detracted from the faces. I didn't act like a keyboard warrior and curse to high heaven.
Considering I'm not taking credit for his work, as I stated it was an EDIT, I assume he probably gives zero fucks.
