bAv-R34: The whole Tonic not doing anything but making people believe they were cured thing has actually been done numerous times in history. I think that some countries still do this.

CrotchboobAddict: @bAv-R34 - True, that's why the only tonic I'd drink is gin and tonic, at least then you'll know what effect it has.

Faptacular: Of all the one-shot characters so far those two slices of fetid dick-cheese were second on my list that I never wanted to see canonically again.

Anonymous2: Hahaha if it /actually/ made her young again! This is totally what would have happened. They're too shocked that it worked to go for that sweet ass though. I pity them.

CrotchboobAddict: ^ Yup, there's a lot other characters they could bring back, like Trixie, wasn't it bullshit how she became 'nice' so fast.

Roflcakes: I found it funny that the moral of the episode was basically in favor of ethical advertising when one of the worst offenders of peddling absolute trash via unethical means are adverts marketed to children. I know this is a bit of a long shot but extreme respect to the writing staff if shedding light on that issue was in any way intended.

ConsciousDonkey: @Roflcakes: Well, in real world, the enraged citizens of Ponyville would probably lynch AJ for giving F&F credit (after they conveniently made themselves scarce). Not sure what moral would that convey, though.

Enkidu: @Roflcakes: It could be more literally applied to the alternative medicines industry which is huge and cares nothing for whether the medicines sold have any effect.
