x1x1: what the hell is wrong with you guys.
this is amazing artwork.
the "face" is just done by the artist's style.
why does this have -3? and some traced lined kat pic here gets like 5 as a score? you people serious? wow.
JimmyJohn: downvoted because the face is important in art like this. I get the feeling she deliberately made it ugly just to be different, but I don't really care for doing things just to be different. It's inappropriate and a waste of this picture's potential.
x1x1: Okay, it might've been just 10 people downvoting, and nobody upvoting because of the pairing (as odd as that sounds), but there is nothing wrong with the face. It's not "ugly". It's a different artstyle. For those who think the face is ugly should seriously get off this site and go look at some actual art people do with their own styles, and get used to them. It's just shocking how people get to see their own fantasies come to life like this (mostly even free, on this site), and still complain about the nonexistant details. Amazing.
Demimond23: @x1x1: The irony. A person that gets judgemental about other people not liking something depicted on an image, gets mad after seeing an image they don't like. Can you follow your own advice and take your pseudo-moral faggotry elsewhere then? Your comment is bad and you should feel bad.
Will you stop? An image being in someone's style does not make it immune from being ugly. It's fine if the artist likes it that way, but that doesn't mean everyone else has to like it, too.
x1x1: @Demimond23: "Get mad"? Hah sure. Atleast I could appreciate the hard work and many hours the artist has put into this picture, whether people end up liking it or not. Atleast I have the respect for them. People who commented expressed no respect or appreciation to the artist. I was shocked by that. People get turned on by half-assed sketches and lineart-copying from porn images that have been "worked" into some League charecter, but the smallest detail on a picture that someone saw many hours on and is made by a good artist, gets a mind-boggling -10. It's just funny how the majority here can jerk off to Annie getting her brain full of semen, but go "ewww" when the charecter's face simply doesn't look like it's being fucked silly. What's even more amazing is that another person edited it, didn't give credit to the artist even though they were linked in the source-page, and got praised for it. That's just disgusting to me. Honestly, I don't care what you call me or think about me. If you seriously can't see anything wrong with the picture being edited so that those whiny people could do a circlejerk that they couldn't do before because of a minor detail, then I don't feel like I should worry about your opinions. I see shit like this happen on this site often, where good works of good artists have been shat on to death. It's reverse logic, and simply amusing.
Demimond23: @x1x1: the end result of artist's work might be something that took many hours to finish, but it doesn't mean somebody should like it only on that basis. I assume that people who come to >rule 34< site are here mainly because they search for something that sexually attracts them about the character they have in mind(spoiler alert right). The quality, time taken and whatever else there is to judge in a picture is a distant second\third consideration because, as somebody pointed out, it's not Deviantart. And since having a boner for detailed time consuming work on a picture is probably not a main fetish that many people share, sure people are going to like something that arouses them, sure they gonna like sex-oriented simple pictures of a character before they like detailed\time consuming ones on a site about porn.
Seriosuly, it's like a woman getting angry because a guy wants some vaginal sex but she only wants him to go anal, and she brags about how it takes more effort for her to take it up the ass, so why does he like traditional sex more. When the reality is that he doesn't give a fuck about effort, it's all about what sexually arouses him more. I dunno why I even should go this far to explain the point this simple but whatever.
There's no respect in not making your opinion about artist's work known simply because he\she might not like it and there's no disrespect in critisizing somebody(harshy or not). It's okay to be sensitive about it, but if you don't like what people on the internet are saying, you can always just not read what they're commenting. Cencoring opinions on a basis of having feelings hurt seems like a bigger of two evils. I'm not talking out of my ass, I got my pictures shat on here too, what good would it be if I get emotional about it? I carried lessons out of it and improved upon it instead.
Another point is editing a picture. Seriously, how is that a bad thing? I mean besides you taking personal offense to it and having your feelings hurt over it, what is actually bad about editing a picture? I'm not talking about internet etiquette or some similar bullshit but about actual core\essence of whatever is going on. On a personal note, I don't mind giving people my sourse files, maybe they'll make it into something that I personally will like even, how do I know? And if they make it into an ugly piece of shit, the original is still there so what's the harm. And if you want to find an artist you can always use hashtags with his\her name(which there were on edited picture or simple google picture search FFS. So it's win-win either way, no? Explain to me how editing a picture is an insult or a sign of disrespect besides "because artists says so", if critisizing a picture and pointing out mistakes isn't. Not saying artist shouldn't have the right to remove their work from the site, but that's a separate issue and I do agree that we should have that right.
Also, what is the point of even leaving a comment if you say that you don't care what people reply to you? If you can't allow your own opinion to be changed, you won't change anyone's opinion either and it just turn out like you're screaming at the wall and getting angry because the wall doesn't give a shit.
P.S. making a wall of text was probably a mistake, but whatever. Also, I liked and upvoted the picture, so it's at least 1 more upvote than you thought. Not that fucking upvotes really mean shit.
x1x1: @Demimond23: Okay, okay. I was a bit surprised you managed to do a bigger wall of text than me, hah.
I know I might've sound like uhh... a woman bragging about sex? Hmm... okay? And I'm sorry about that.
What made me say the things that I did was because of my anger/disgust I've seen on this page. I know this is a place where people come to enjoy the sexual stuff and well, "jerk off", but them just nagging about small details or things that really shouldn't be bothering their boners made me cringe. As an artist myself I know how hard and time-consuming it is to even create something sketchy, and even more to make it so that someone would actually find it arousing, so it made me feel a bit frusturated that the people couldn't just hold their dicks and do what they do, instead of whining like a kid on Christmas Eve.
As in the editing thing, I wouldn't have bothered if the artist would have been okay with it. It just set me off that it got edited, and THEN got the praise it deserved before.
Ofcourse everyone has their own opinions about artistic pictures and whatnot, but compared to the majority that's been put up here, this one was actually pretty good. In terms of quality. Some jerk off to tits made by MSPaint, some to stuff like this, so it's really up to them. But nobody seemed to respect the quality and the rest of the image (besides the freaking face).
Again I'm sorry for my replies. I don't really have anything better to say, because I know if I continued the argument, it would go on forever.
Also I'm sorry for saying I wouldn't care about your opinions and whatnot. I was simply caught in middle of my anger. (The word "anger" seems a bit extreme for me. I'd say it was more like an irritation/annoyance.)
Ugh. I feel like I've made a shitty impression of myself. I already saw somebody calling me a cunt for this hahhahaaha.
I simply wanted to express my confusion and utter mindblow that this situation made me go through. Hope it wasn't too big of a deal.
Once again, I'm sorry. I acted rashly and I wanted to get my point that even though this is R34, artwork is artwork. It should get its' respect.
Fist_of_Shadows: Someone should repost the edit. It's existence doesn't really harm anyone, and as great as this picture is IMO, the edit was nice too.
Demimond23: @Fist_of_Shadows: I'll probably just draw a separate picture with the face I did for that edit so it won't go to waste some time later this... year.
