fishmonger: Penises don't work like that. Why do you always have mouth movement? You know these don't have sound, right? If you want to suggest that they are saying things, you should add text on the image; if you are just trying to convey the fact that the people are speaking to one another, you can just stop because it's entirely unnecessary.
horribleartist: I see some people here are still stuck in the left-wing right-wing paradigm... which is exactly why I hate Brian. Not one original bone in his body, just parrots Democrat talking points.
Anonymous6: @horribleartist: haha Brian's unoriginal??? Compared to who? Peter Griffin (Homer), Quagmire (repetitive sick humor), Vinny (just stereotypes). He's the only original character on the show!!
The liberal thing is a small part of his character, and so what. Liberalism is far more fair and just than conservatism!! Well done Brian!
Brian and Stewie OWN this show!!! They're the only varied/dynamic characters!
Glen Quagmire: You wanna maybe just go?
Brian Griffin: Quagmire, come on. I'm really trying hard here.
Glen Quagmire: Who asked you to try hard?
Brian Griffin: Nobody, but I'm trying to establish a friendship with you. All I've done is try to be nice to you and you still don't like me. How can you not like me?
Glen Quagmire: ...Okay, I'll tell ya. You are the worst person I know. You constantly hit on your best friend's wife, the man pays for your food and rescued you from certain death, and this is how you repay him? And to add insult to injury, you defecate all over his yard. And you're such a sponge. You pay for nothing, you always say "Oh, I'll get you later," but later never comes. And what really bothers me, is you pretend you're this deep guy who loves women for their souls when all you do is date bimbos. Yeah, I date women for their bodies, but at least I'm honest about it. I don't buy them a copy of "Catcher in the Rye" and then lecture them with some seventh grade interpretation of how Holden Caulfield is some profound intellectual. He wasn't! He was a spoiled sausage! And that's why you like him so much, he's you! God, you're pretentious! And you delude yourself by thinking you're some great writer even though you're terrible. You know, I should've known Cheryl Tiegs didn't write me that note. She would've known there's no "a" in the word "definite." And I think what I hate most about you is your textbook liberal agenda, how we should "legalize pot, man," how big business is crushing the underclass, how homelessness is the biggest tragedy in America. Well, what have you done to help? I work down at the soup kitchen, Brian. Never seen you down there! You wanna help? Grab a ladle! And by the way, driving a Prius doesn't make you Jesus Christ! Oh, wait! You don't believe in Jesus Christ or any religion for that matter, because "religion is for idiots!" Well, who the hell are you to talk down to anyone? You failed college twice, which isn't nearly as bad as your failure as a father! How's that son of yours you never see? But you know what? I could forgive all of that, all of it, if you weren't such a bore! That's the worst of it, Brian. You're just a big, sad, alcoholic bore.
[sighs]
Glen Quagmire: Well, see ya, Brian! Thanks for the fucking steak!
Anonymous7: @Thumper: that Quagmire rant means nothing, it was supposed to be ironic bad hypocritical...which it was. Brian is nicer than most on the show, he's the only one who cares for meg, he looks after Stewie, far better than quagmire! He can fuck off. BRIAN iS BACK!!!! Hahahahaha
Anonymous8: @Thumper: Yes, but the Quagmire rant is ironic. Considering, Quagmire is far worse than Brian, in terms of the gross choices he makes. And Brian and Stewie are the only dynamic characters, they create the best episodes.
horribleartist: @Anon6 I wasn't talking about McFarlane's obvious plagiarism.
"Liberalism is far more fair and just than conservatism!!"
I used to think that too, until I realized that Inner Party liberals are a bunch of control freaks who use buzzwords like "social welfare" and "civil rights" to hide their authoritarian agenda. Only Outer Party members and slaves like you think liberalism is about justice and fairness. Useful idiots.
Although, if you're talking about neoconservatism, you'd perhaps be closer to the truth. But I consider myself more of a libertarian.
Anonymous9: @horribleartist: I mean traditional Liberalism, fair politics and all that. The kind of liberal stuff that Brian believes in on Family Guy, is good. Like gay rights; abortion rights for women; environmentalism; need for stricter gun regulations.
That stuff is just common sense, which is why I love Brian. In such a weird, silly show, there is one sensible character that the audience can relate to. The fact he's a dog, makes it funny.
reduolf13: Why does anyone care about Brian being a liberal? I mean Peter's an idiot; Quagmire's a rapist; Stewie's gay. They all have character traits!!
What matters is, Brian is a brilliant companion to Stewie and they make each other funny. Their episodes are by far the best!! It's awesome that Brian is back.
Anonymous11: When I was scrolling down the comments and when I saw the liberal word mentioned, I knew it was gonna spark something. I'm neither a rep or a dem. I'm Libertarian, but we gotta keep this stuff off the site because nothing is worse to a boner than a political flame war.
horribleartist: Any replacement is better than Brian. Brian's a boring, self-obsessed douche; doesn't matter if you agree with his politics or not. I say bring back Vinny.
Agreed w/ Thumper. Liberals think government can do no wrong, but people with brains have studied history and know that all governments seek more power and would go tyrannical if they thought they could get away with it. That's what the Second Amendment is there for, not just hunting and defense against criminals, although those two reasons are good enough to have guns IMO.
Thumper: @horribleartist: yes; I remember seeing on tv an old guy who survived the ethnic cleansing in serbia. He said at one point, "they did what they wanted. we could do nothing, we had no guns" guns are an equalizer. a chance, in your hands, at maintaining the status quo.

So what Brian's liberal? Waht's the alternative, being a selfish, racist Republican? You dimwit!
BRIAN LIVES!!! Also, why's Brian showering with Stewie? :)
The liberal thing is a small part of his character, and so what. Liberalism is far more fair and just than conservatism!! Well done Brian!
Brian and Stewie OWN this show!!! They're the only varied/dynamic characters!

It doesn't need another stereotypical characters, who is only there for cheap laughs (Vinny).
