Hadoken: Since Hadoken knows of mythology among the many other things...if this is to be considered a "source of the nile" then the goddess would actually be Satis (which may or may not be related to satis-fy etc. although if you look at the old etymology: satisfy
c.1430, from Middle French satisfier, from Old French satisfaire, from Latin satisfacere "DISCHARGE FULLY, comply with, make amends," lit. "do enough," from satis "enough" (from Proto-Indo-European base *sa- "to satisfy;") + facere "perform". Caps emphasis, mine). Who was the egyptian goddess of the nile (and it might be concieved of as being something like this very possibly).
Hadoken: Also, for some reason I recall this picture, only heavily lactating as well (which would fit the deity...you know, milk and all.) is there another ver. of this as such?
Keva420: if the Egyptians had built this they would never have been conquered by the Romans XD also all of Africa would be like Australia instead it would be called Egypt and i would move there ^^
