Anonymous3: Well... the Gerudos have Persian clothing, East-European Jewish features, Lesbos-Grecian culture, Hindu jewelry, and Gypsy economics... but WHO THE HELL IS THE OTHER CHICK!?
Anonymous5: To Anon3: I believe it's safe to assume it's Zelda, maybe her nympho twin her parents kept secret. But, of course, everyone knows Zelda is a Ho-bag.
AnonyMoose: JESUS CHRIST you people are morally bankrupt and sickening to listen to. with your damn racist comments. its disgusting and chidish. ffs grow up and join the real world instead of hiding behind your computer screens talking all tough as if youd say that shit in front of people out in the open. and if you would youre even lower than i think of you as of now. youd get the shit beat out of you if you insulted someone like that who was black, arabic, or jewish. fuck.
Anonymous14: This was written by Shax itself, about this very picture:
3. What is the worst artwork you've done?
Oh man, where to even START- all my pictures are awful in one way or another- or sometimes all at once! Still, there's one that sticks in my mind.... Uncle Shax Story Time!
Many years ago, in a past life, I did an art trade with a fellow Deviant with a penchant for hanging. Not my thing, personally, but hey, we all have a kink, and that's fine so long as no actual human beings get hurt. For my half, he asked me to draw an Ocarina of Time-themed picture featuring evil Princess Zelda in the process of hanging a bound, gagged and denuded Nabooru by the neck. Grisly, but hey, give 'em what they want, right?
'Course, I decided that, unlike all the OTHER artists who were drawing Nabooru as a slightly more tanned version of a generic anime girl, I was gonna do my best to follow her actual design- the full hips, the streamlined profile, and particularly the sharp, knife-like nose. And in this, I completely and utterly FAILED. It was a DISASTER.
It ended up getting pulled off of DeviantArt for, to my best guess, perceived (and completely unintentional) anti-Semitic messages. I drew Nabooru so badly that people thought she was a racist caricature. And in hindsight, there IS something fundamentally effed up about drawing a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, light-skinned woman in the process of snugging a noose around the neck of a captive dark-skinned one. That's a special kind of badness, right there.
I don't have many regrets when it comes to art (well, aside from not doing it often enough), but that picture... that's one of 'em.
(Note that this isn't a comment on the fella who originally requested the picture - he's an all right guy and I bear him no hard feelings! I just regret that I botched his request so badly.)
cheers
Also Nabooru is a jew
