jubilation_t_cornpone: The commissioner pays for one pic. He gets three drafts to choose from (more recently five). He chooses the pic he likes best. Having all of them finished would cost him three or five times as much. (Though some commissioners HAVE had more than one completed. The two Mirage/Elastigirl pics came from one set of drafts.)

Anonymous3: I actually remember when these were posted, the guy who commissioned them posted the drafts at one *chan site. DTiberius got really pissed about it too. I think he posted some other unfinished drafts but forgot what they were about.
