Anonymous10: It's only one word away from watersports, Gomensai, we don't need the cheap piss jokes on future r34 of Carrot Top should she be renamed to Golden Harvest on this site.
Anonymous11(2): Maybe, but associating her with the comedian of the same name rubs me the wrong way.
What about Lyra? How come everyone still clings to her fan made name and not switching to the official Heartstrings?
Faptacular: Back in the day (Around the time Beast Wars was airing) Hasbro was dedicated to 100% toy-in-show accuracy. Now they don't give a flying fuck.
I don't collect toys of anything anymore but that still sets my nerd-rage ablaze.
Anonymous16(2): Yep, an official site did mention how there is going to be a "Derpy cameo" in Hearth's Warming Eve. The Hooves part is still questionable but Derpy is now more or less real.
And Faptacual, what makes you say so? If you compare the newest TF Prime toyline to the animated series they're VERY on-model. The Bay's TF3 movie designs also have a lot more resemblance with toys in the film's line than the first two films had. Even G.I. Joes went for more similar to animation looks.
As for MLP FiM, the blind bag figures are very show accurate. True, the main line with nylon hair is not as similar looking but I think it nails the overal design aesthetics nicely. I just wish the accessories were more relevant to the show, like Applejack's hat and pets included. At least RD's pet is a turtle in both toyline and series.
Glaze ftw!
Woodentoaster ftw!

@Gomensai because Hasbro's name for Carrot top is shit and I personally find it somewhat unsettling.
Also, Me Gusta on the surprise-deep-pounding.

Daisy is a canon pony from the flower trio, yet her toy is called "Flower Wishes".
Trixie's toy is called "Lulamoon", so you can't take the toy names seriously
