Anonymous2: It is, Anon1. It seems part of their cultural identity. Also this one is a Sith Inquisitor anyway (As taken from the SWTOR previews) so the tattoos are doubly mandatory!
Anonymous3: Most Zabraks have tattoos as part of their culture, while some other Zabraks do not: for example when having grown up outside of a Zabrak colony (such as with the Jedi, or having been born on a far off planet as child of a shipwrecked or fleeing parent).
Anonymous4: A3, very interesting though I'm sure you have noticed that even most Zabrak Jedi have the tatoos. I think that the Jedi are very culturally sensitive (Ki-Adi-Mundi was allowed to have several wifes as his culture encourages even though Jedi marriage is very much off limits at the era he is alive in). But yes, if a Zabrak for one reason or another doesnt have the chance to getted tattooed, they do not spontaneous grow tattoos.
Anonymous5: There is some impressive fan-lore on Zabraks now, which, is really, all you can rely on if you role play star wars shit as GL blows giant dicks.
I think their tattoos are called Jato or jati. Hopefully bioware will canonize things with their new game
Anonymous6(4): GL? That Galaxies or is my....oooh, I get it now. -nods- Well it may just be something I hope, but I think he is no longer working on Star Wars and just sits back collecting money while people who are not insane and love Star Wars do some real beautiful work on it.
Regarding the game, a bit disappointed in race limits but what can you do? Also Cyborg is cool but felt a bit like a copout since it's just a human with visible augments.
Anonymous7: I agree A6, Cyborg is kind of silly. An update, on a group Im with for ToR, I am seeing a lot of fan made Zabrak lore, and Mirialan as well. Some pretty neat stuff actually.
