Gan_Ainm: I am a Porkyman nerd and yes, she is. Originally slated as a female player in Red/Blue, she was cut for technical restraints, yet showed up in (I wanna say) Porkyman Special basically serving the same role Misty did in the anime. In Japan, she was named Blue, and the rival (Gary in the anime) was named Green. Translated versions, however, swapped their names. She finally appeared in game in FireRed/LeafGreen in this outfit, named Leaf. Her comic form, as was true for every character in the Kanto arc, was updated to wear the same outfit.
champofgalacticretards: Gan Ainm, you forgot to mention that Hiker is one of non-playable characters as known as NPC Trainers. This is Aruni's artwork. original image (dupe) of this was in japanese instead of english of "arse!" >>15200
Hiker was found in earliest game (Red and Blue) to newest game (black and white). His japanese name was "Alpinist".

champofgalacticretards: Leaf never been appeared in cartoon but Hiker was appeared in "Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden", "The Rivals", and "You're a Star, Larvitar!" episodes of 1999 (U.S.) "Porkyman" and Hiker named Andy appeared in Black and White magna, "Black's First Trainer Battle".
champofgalacticretards: I mean manga. Leaf (included counterparts) also appeared in manga as well. She appeared on Ken Sugimori's artwork on a 2005 New Year's postcard. (see http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/6/61/New_Years_postcard.jpg)
And the guy is a Hiker.
I need a life.
