Soemele: Is this Furronika? I'm seeing a lot of similarities in linework, but the style of the characters is obviously somewhat different from what she normally does.
iNfeRnO: I really don't think it is. Parts of this were quite obviously superimposed straight from the show, and furronika doesn't do that in his/her other pictures. Removing tag.
Soemele: Again, disagreed, and will continue to disagree until a statement from the artist herself. Stuff like the quality of line is far more telling than the anatomical style; It's very easy for an artist to try a new style, but far more difficulty to change their lines without using a completely new medium.
Carvin: But these system and quality of lines are different. Besides significantly less detail, these are more sweepy, less defined. Furronika has a very precise, powerful stroke. The anatomy lacks the exaggeration of detail that Furronika uses as well.
Soemele: Yes, which prompts me to theorize that this was an experiment with sticking closer to the more cartoony style of the show. Also note the wavey who-gives-a-shit background lines, which are also present in her other pics. Also, the fact that even while abstracting the style she still reflected actual human musculature in the contour of Leela's hip is pretty telling.
Can't say I'm 100% certain, but I'm still more inclined to say it's Furronika than otherwise.
