"15. Do not post fakes (photoshops) of celebrities, unless they are in character [...] Political and major social figures are allowed, however. Note: drawn celebrity images are welcome."
Is that out of date, misleading, or just more CYA with no teeth? What's the distinction between 'celebrity' and 'major social figure'?

Killamajig: So the answer to the repetitious question is "Yes, but enforcement is arbitrary". Would that have been so hard to say?

Killamajig: And for the record, I've no problem with arbitrary rules - there's worse shit here, though a copy of the banned terms list would be great, I can't even imagine what I've intended to post that was too extreme for R34 - but Anonymous isn't the sharpest tool in the shed at the best of times and I don't think confusing the poor dear is very fair.

Titanium: Banned terms? You mean for the comments? It's mostly links to spam and shit like that. Email if you want the full list.

I do agree that poor Anon gets confused easily. For celebs, I admit the rules are not clear and somewhat arbitrary.

Killamajig: Yeah...I've had what I thought were completely innocuous comments returned with "contains banned terms". I've never even tried to post a link that wasn't to another image hosted here.
I will do so.
