Anonymous8: Actually this pairing is not so far from reality watching the relationship between the two of them in the book. It's not impossible to think they could have been in homosexual intercourse, even if Tolkien didn't say anything explicit about it (and yes I know about Tolkien's christianity and all stuff, but let us imagine the characters the way we want xD).
