Anonymous3: i think you'll find the fear of Mutants ( people who look just like us but are hiding the fact they are different) was actualy mirroring the worlds homophobia
slpowerhouse: The fear of Mutants was really more about the fear of anyone who is different from you. This brings it to be basically the same bigotry that is faced when dealing with racism or homophobia.
The only real weird part of the marvel universe in this regard is that if you are a meta-human your fine (characters like Thor, Spiderman, Hulk) but if your a mutant your instantly hated.
Anonymous5: While that's not entirely true about meta-humans, with the super-human registration act targeting others besides mutants, the first bit is dead on, and has been talked about by old man Lee and a few others in interviews for as long as I can remember.
On another note, this shit is to civil. FUCK YOU ALL, STICK IT BETWEEN HER TITTIES!
Except for hulk being feared and hated almost universally, and spider-man being feared, hated, and accused of being a mutant almost universally, you're right.

Damn it, there's better ways to clean her up.
Must be some racists who done this.
Fun fact: Mutants in the comic were suposed to show the racial problems of humans.
