Anonymous1: There isn’t anything wrong with him dating someone older. For her it’s a different story but she’s already a criminal. Like what the hell does she care if she breaks some laws? What was even the point of the increased age gap between them in the first place? Or for the kiss? Cat barely matters in the Ultimate comics because it was primarily a Pete x MJ story in the first place. She and Gwen easily could’ve been cut out entirely and I don’t imagine things being that much different.
I kind of recall liking Ultimate Spidey at the time but it’s honestly hard to remember what I actually still love about the series other than Bagley’s drawings. There was an issue where it really delved into Shocker’s character, I thought that was pretty good actually.
