Anonymous3: Shouldn't the tags have to say Lightning Farron? After all, all other names are always complete. (To a point where it gets fanatic, even. Just look at Bender's tag from Futurama)
evilpika: The official stance is closer to "Please don't do that". We usually only use full names if theirs more than one character with that name, or if someone gets fanatic and tags them all and no one feels like changing them back.
Anonymous9(2): No, I'm not.
The PS1 games had better characters, better gameplay and better stories.
But the characters, gameplay and stories of FFX-2, FFXI and FFXII sucked. Plain and simple.
Anonymous10(8): Lol. Wrong. How did FFVII and FFIX have better gameplay? All you do is walk around, go into battle, press 'Fight' Button, End Fight. In any case where you need 'skill' you just have to use magic according to the enemies weakness. FFVIII's gameplay was broken. 3 hours in and the entire game is broken because of the draw system.
Characters hm? Okay. Let's take the old favourite. FFVII. You have an emo, spiky haired guy, a big titted girl, an innocent girl, a strange creature with a microphone, a gothic vampire, a hyperactive girl and a stereotypical black man. Oh, and a dog that could talk. I've proved my point.
FFVII's story is terrible. Anything that needs over 3 expansions and a CGI movie to explain what's going on is obviously a sign of poor story foundations in the PS1 title. FFVIII was a typical love story, and FFIX's story is actually rather good.
Anonymous11(2): Lets see...
All you do in FFXIII is walking in a straight line from A to B and fight.
Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the draw system, but it made the game (at least a little bit) more difficult.
Now to the characters: What the fuck do you want? FF is a goddamn RPG, if you want some realisic characters, go play your shooters. Also - even if you dislike it - characters like Cloud, Vincent and Sephiroth are (for the typical traditional RPG fans) the ne plus ultra. Most of the gamers (I'm not saying all) don't want characters like Tidus, Vaan, Hope, et cetera.
Why do you think most people like characters like Kratos Aurion, Yuri Lowell, Cloud, Vincent, Sephiroth, Judas/Leon Magnus the most of their games?
About the story: "Anything that needs over 3 expansions and a CGI movie to explain what's going on is obviously a sign of poor story foundations in the PS1 title."
Ooooh, now I get it. Its bad because of the 3 discs and the PS1, it makes sense!
Seriously, WTF? FFXIII has WAY more cutscenes - For your information - 32GB of cutscenes. Also, FF7's story was fresh and original and the story telling and plots were good. OF COURSE it could be better, but calling FF7's story bad is just plain stupid.
"FFVIII was a typical love story"...
Ever heard of Snow and Serah? I guess not.
Anonymous13(3): I agree with Anon11, but also with anon12. Seriously guys: I agree FF XIII sucks (and I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan), but take this to a game forum.
Dis here's site for fappin' ;-)
Anonymous14: There's far too little fapping in these responses. If you wanna debate the quality of the games, I'm not sure that under a pic of Claire (Well, "Eclair" in the Japanese version, anyway) getting boned by a bunch of oversized cacti is really the best place for it.
Just make a crappy but lolworthy needle joke and move along.
Anonymous17: Anon10 is retarded. FFVII is the most original and interesting jrpg ever made and I can back it up with real evidence, not just facile criticisms. By far the best world, it's got so much variety from midgar to costa del sol to the gold saucer to wutai. Everywhere there is interactivity from giving a girl cpr, snowboarding, chocobo breeding. Over 40 of these interactive sequences! FFXIII has nothing like that. The world has more realism in VII, there's vehicles and towns and it's a cyberpunk sci-fi game about science experiments, terrorism, environmentalism and various other interesting themes. It's not just about love, but the love story is really well done. It's whimsical and interesting plotwise. People just remember "sephiroth big sword emo spiky hair talking dog" and forget the great locations and gameplay. I mean, in FFVII you can go in a submarine, on a chocobo, on a motorbike, in boats, a helicopter, a dirigible and a FUCKING ROCKET! In FFXIII you just go in straight lines and can go on a chocobo and a couple of times u go on a ship in a cutscene. What happened to FF being a world? Your ship should be controllable and go all over exploring and doing different things around a whole alien planet with a variety of interesting cultures to explore. Gran Pulse? Don't make me lol, it's not open world, it's fucking empty and ugly with only battles and wasting your time walking around it for hours. The sequels are only done with FFVII because it is by far the deepest game in the series. There's sooo much plot that can be expanded on because the world they created was so great, the other games in the series don't have that sort of depth. I mean, you may as well argue that Lord of the rings was crap cos it needed 2 expansions to explain! So it's actually a positive that there are spin offs, can you imagine a FFXIII spin off being good?
FFXIII has not a single interesting plot point, FFVII has about 30, from the first mission terrorist attack, to learning about zack and red xiii's dad and barret destroying his town and adopting marlene to helping cid go into space and forgive his wife. What does FFXIII has? Maybe sazh pretending to kill himself and that's about the only one I can remember that's worth mentioning. You turn your brain off when you play that game, there's really nothing interesting to remember about the story. Another great thing about FFVII was it had a sense of humour, barret swears, red xiii nearly mated with aeris, you cross dress, it's suggested you got raped by a muscley guy from the gym at the honey bee inn. It's a fantasy game with some ridiculous things in it but they're explainable. I seem to be different than most FF fans, I don't care about battles, I enjoy the world and locations and society, and I like the plot points to involve multiple characters and locations and interesting events. FFXIII plot is just 2 characters talking to themselves in a crap location for most of it. In FFVII when characters talk, they could picture past events and it was interesting to watch Cloud and Tifa reminisce. FFXIII's flashbacks are boring. And FFVII was interactive, there were tens of story choices in it, and constantly you got to choose dialogue options and many other things. For example in the slums you could steal 5 gil from a boys drawer, if you left it you could come back later and he'd give you something special. The gold saucer alone was better than the entirity of FFXIII. Since FFIX they've not created a decent world, prefering to focus on character melodrama and battle gameplay. X was ok, it had some variety and interesting characters. XII had great gameplay and level design, but a bit lacking in interactivity. XIII is a huge step down from both, easily the most disappointing game I've ever played.
Anonymous25: Okay time to write something bout ff13-2.......Noel has friend problems and Serah being a primary school teacher = wtf...my point had nothing to do with anything..WHY IS THERE NO PORN OF SERAH OR NEW MOG
Anonymous27: " I mean, you may as well argue that Lord of the rings was crap cos it needed 2 expansions to explain! So it's actually a positive that there are spin offs"
Seriously? The Lord of the Rings was one book that was split into 3 movies. So that doesn't justify spin-offs
They're finally nailing her?

That's her last name?
...That's a pretty sucky name overall.
Sadly, FFXIII is an average game overall...
You've got a....39 1/2 foot PPIINNGGAASS!!
