Anonymous1: The writers have implied more than once that the Joker is impotent. Harley's constant advances are an uncomfortable reminder of that so he's always trying to get rid of her, including making attempts on her life. Poisoning her has been foiled by her building up immunities, and by Ivy giving her further immunities. (Doesn't she need the occasional booster shot for that though?) She's basically an invincible character. This also explains why in the Batman Beyond movie they show her frustration at the Joker opting not to knock her up. Maybe she hired a gigolo here, and gave him instructions to take her from behind so she could pretend he was the Joker. Though I'd think she has enough nerve toxin in her system fucking her could well be a death sentence. Or maybe, it would kill your boner, temporarily or even permanently. She managed to reproduce somehow though. She is the Dee Dees' Nana. And they're not mutants, that we can tell. Adoption maybe?

Anonymous3: Anon 1 has no fucking idea what he is talking about, DC have never implied the Joker is impotent and he's not constantly trying to get rid of her. In the Batman Beyond movie Harley clearly shows her distaste at the thought of getting pregnant, not frustration at not being knocked up.
There have been plenty of hints Joker and Harley have fucked. Get your facts straight Anon 1.

Anonymous4(1): The Joker: Quite right, poo. And Harley and I thought it was time to start a family. Add a "Joker Junior" to our merry brood.
Harley Quinn: But rather than go through all the joys of childbirth, [makes disgusted face] we decided to adopt.

I hadn't noticed that before. I do say it's open to interpretation. It seems to me there's some amount of bitterness more than disgust in how she says it. Like hey, I'm right here. What the fuck is wrong with doing it the natural way? Besides Anon3 you missed the early issues of the Harley Quinn spin-off. In that Harley's throwing herself at Joker to no end; and he's beating her off with a stick.

appealus: She's disgusted not bitter, Anon4. If you still think it's open to interpretation you need to watch the scene again. I know I can't change your opinion, but please don't be as stubborn as a "shipper". Good day to you.
