Hurrdurr: The artist intended her to be a Clanner, but he got the fluff wrong.
Clanners wear full-body skin-tight cooling suits. Only Inner Sphere pilots wear skimpy short shorts and cooling vests. Clanners spare no expense for their Mechwarriors, while the Inner Sphere actually lacked the technology for cooling suits for awhile. [Probably not actual knowledge of how to build it, but more likely the manufacturing plants/method to create cooling suits] Also, she no neurohelmet, so her mech should be falling over.
Anonymous4: Her 'Mech might not fall over, depending on how old it is. I don't know if Clan 'Mechs retained this capability, but in some Star League 'Mechs, the gyroscope and attendant computer systems *could* keep a 'Mech with no neurohelmet connection to its pilot upright, as long as nobody shot at it. It'd be trivially easy to knock over, but it could stand on its own, at least. (I suppose in the interests of fairness, I should note that this was based off of some scenes in CBT fiction, not in any game rules, so take it for what you will.)
The other possibility may be she shut her 'Mech down, locking it in place as if it were in a hangar, and thus there would be no need for neurohelmet nor cooling vest/suit.
Personally, my first concern with this would be dehydration, but YMMV there.
Anonymous7: The neurohelmet and cooling suit would clearly ruin the hotness. And who gives a shit if she's comitting a crime? Nobody is around to see...except us.
Anonymous8: ^^ lol I would tell her to surrender in my Daishi and then I would tell her to come in my mech so I could fuck then she would be free to go sex on the go took a whole new level.
Anonymous22: The only Clan "crime" i am aware of in connection with sex is creating actual biological offspring instead of going full on In vitro designerbabies. They fuck recreationally quite a lot in the books, so why not jill the button if it's not endangering a mission? Who knows she might even have been in a training session and got shot down so her simulator is now locked and she has to wait out till the session is over.
...reminds me on 7of9
