Anonymous1: She was in love with Dr Donald Blake (Thor's alter-ego, not her ex like in the film, that was just pandering to the fans), not knowing that he *was* Thor. Then she finds out, and they get together...
I think somewhere along the line, Thor takes her to Asgard and Odin grants her powers/immortality, but she fails to pass the tests to make her a goddess so Odin wipes her memory and powers and casts her out to some realm that isn't Earth.
Thor finds her and takes her back to Earth but I think something happens and she marries her human love instead of Thor, and Thor gets together with Sif...
