rewind2846: if you're doing this in photoshop:
1. duplicate the base layer
2. add at least one layer between that new layer and the base layer
3. put a "MULTIPLY" on base layer 2
4. use the layers between base and base 2 for your colors. erase the extraneous pencil bullshit
total time = 1.2 hours
results should look like this pic from the original >>2367 and not like >>304758, unless they weren't using photoshop.
if you're going to throw colors at something that doesn't need them, do it right
