"Like most bonus tracks, some of these seem a bit unresolved in relation to the rest of the show, yet they offer some of the most compelling moments. The one exception is the large painting "Copyright?" (2005) which is set as the sight-line from the entrance to the gallery. Some of Aida's earlier sexually explicit endeavors are impressively seductive / sickening (each being of equal weight) which causes a kind of self conscious tension. This one carries all the juvenilia of Rat Fink meets MAD magazine. It could be that Aida's interest in addressing a domestic audience led him to appropriate local styles and attack an american icons, but I think Ocampo's oeuvre far outshines this effort."
Htoonlover: i agree, i dont find many pictures that i get to upload, but i feel some of the ones i do definitely deserve a featuring, along with the atomic_bomb/mushroom_cloud, and surfboard girl.

Anon3: i also would be interested to see it in person, and see if i could handle viewing such an image in such a size, in real life...
I say we should all chip-in and buy it for Titanium and the mods to hang in their office for all their hard work.

[For those of you uneducated in the art of such things, Mortimer Mouse was the original design for Mickey Mouse, with a longer nose, was taller and had a slightly meaner attitude for things. However, Walt Disney disliked the original design, shortened the nose and the overall body... Mickey, as the new version was called, was still a bit of a douche until they family friendlilised him over many years. Interestingly enough, some of the more recent cartoons have brought back Mortimer in an attempt to give Mickey a rival to fight for the affections of Minnie Mouse... Which is ODD in my opinion. Mickey and Minnie have been dating for around 50+ years now. It's about time the buck stopped. Disney should find some excuse to get the two married, and then bring in some PLOT into the many, many cartoons. But no. Disney are all about the one shot cartoon.
