It's an 80's movie about mechanical aliens (essentially flying saucers about the size of a dinner plate when full grown) who somehow save all the tenants of an apartment building from being evicted. (I think the building was about to be condemned, and they repaired it?)

Anyway, Magnezone does look a lot like those aliens.
