Anonymous4: Ironically enough, I recently saw an Evangelion "Iceberg Explained" video on YouTube and one of the deeper fan theories mentioned is that Asuka & Shinji represent Adam & Eve after the events of End of Evangelion. And having now seen this really good artwork, I can't help but wonder if it was coincidence...
