Urbane_Guerrilla: Here we see somebody farther along in their artistic development, though not matured even yet. Parts of this are original, and parts of this are indeed good -- but I don't think they're the same parts. There is a difference of line quality: the faces are surely, cleanly drawn. The lines of the bodies and limbs much less confident, scratchy, sketchy -- as if the artist was using a light-box for the faces but freehanding the bodies and limbs. Takes a while -- and putting the lightbox away -- to get over this and give good quality of line throughout. Perhaps through using brush markers or brush and inkbottle generally -- brush and ink is an awfully sensitive medium but once you've got the knack, you can art your way along a la Milton Caniff!
