An_Onymous: @king elewis: Is this notion of yours that Saria visibly grows up from the OoT manga? Because it's not in the game, and from what I've heard the manga does differ from the game's canon in some ways.
An_Onymous: Not in the game, she didn't. As far as I've been able to tell, in the game she looks exactly the same when Link is 17 as she does when he's 10, just like all the other (true) Kokiri.

An_Onymous: OK, assuming you're not making up that thing about Maya, they might in fact have differently-sized models, although that conflicts very heavily with my own memory of the game. However, that in no way justifies your assertion that she was also orphaned and deposited there during the war. Also, where are you getting those ages for Link? Every source I've ever encountered has him as 10 and 17, and I think (I'm not positive) that it's even mentioned somewhere in the game itself.
