UnidentifiedFappingObject: If I were to hazard a guess, I'd suggest the symbols for 'Earth' and 'Water' respectively. Whether or not it's Chinese, Japanese, or another variant of an Asian pictogram language is best left up to someone else.
And sorry, but it's symbols. But if you'd spelled it 'cymbals' it'd have been more lulzworthy.
"I wish I could afford ones Zildjan makes, but all I have are these pussy cymbals."
Anonymous10: UFO, I might be mistaken, but I doubt it in this case. I'm pretty sure that they're Chinese. 土 is definitely the Chinese symbol for Earth, not sure about the water one though.
Dita_Wakeman: You know, I'm suprised I haven't seen any more lesbian tentacle porn with Katara. I mean, with her Waterbending, that kind of porn is right up her alley.
Anonymous21: Japanese kanji were originally taken from the chinese symbols, so they could accurately be called either chinese or japanese. But this is fan art of a japanese manga and anime so japanese kanji would make more sense.
Anonymous22: Actually both China and Japan use Kanji, just depends on the layout and which kanji are used. (Learned that from watching Kekkaishi. XD)On top of this Japan has two other writing systems, one is Katakana which is used for romanise words, like if they were to take a name from over here they would write it in Katakana. Also yes, those are the japanese symbols for Earth and Water, anyone who has ever seen a Yugioh card could tell you that. Finally, Anon 22, Avatar was actually made by Nicolodian, it's american, they just use a lot of asian influence.
My point? Toph about to get raped, water bender style.
So, do you like it
Toph: how am I supposed to know, I can't see remember!
