MC-W1SH: Furry faggotry is killing this fandom. I say we kill them first. Who's with me on this?

Anonymous3: I hate to say it but bronies, pony fans, drink in the irony of you picking on furries when you quite happily complain when people pick on you.

And furries, while it's nice that you want to mix both fandoms, but please understand that people who like ponies have a constructed world with set rules and boundaries within canon.
Unlike furries, who are almost all encompassing and have no centralised universe in which the characters exist, bronies do.
Within certain contexts yes there are sub universes in which characters exist, but often they'll make guest appearances in other universes, rather than mingling shit together. Like the characters from Las Lindas, or Better Days. If you tried mashing those two comics together, people would lose their shit.

Similarly, if you want to show your original character fucking a pony that already has a constructed universe in which it exists (Not just the mane 6, lookup the background ponies too IE celestia, luna, lyra bon bon, the flower girls, derpy, etc etc), just don't.
If you absolutely HAVE to, either make a nondescript, non out of the ordinary character and use that, OR make it absolutely clear that you are taking the characters out of the universe and it is not the exact instance of that character which the fandom community you may or may not be trying to popularise yourself with consider to be canon.
It offends people having the apparent rules of their universes broken by something so out of the ordinary. It's not a brony unique reaction. It's a human one.

Oh and anon4, I wouldn't even go near it even then. The best OC's are ones that don't rip off or rely on the main characters to ANY degree, you don't even talk about them. If you construct your characters, then you construct the rest of your world. If you're dealing with the main characters, you deal with the main characters. Don't mix them. Like above.
Because no matter what you write/draw/sing otherwise it will fuck with SOMEONE's canon, pissing at least one person off, and that is NOT a positive thing, for any fandom.

Anonymous5(3): Well I basically meant that in a 'if you want to fit in and have general appeal'.

Yes I understand there are particular people who do nothing but share this sort of things with their friends in a giant circlejerk.
I would know, I play dance games.

PinkBallons: Anon 5/7, that was beautiful. It's a pity how unlikely it is that any artists in the furry community will see what you've said here. Who knows, maybe some bronies will take it to heart.

Legovlas: If at least those damn furries were original to some degree. It's that stupid black/red color pattern all over again + super smugass grin on face as usuall. On the other hand, at least it's not some fucking retarded furry wolf OC with cancerous face, weird claw legs and whatever else.

Franky_Whiskey: Two furries are doing it. One of em is an OC.

All you attractive and successful Africans can bitch about is the goddamn OC factor in this here picture.

PinkBallons: @Franky_Whiskey: Why, should we be bitching about something else, instead?
avatar

Franky_Whiskey: ^ yes, like why in the fuck is Twilight scared? She's a goddamn horse with a magic sharp horn.

Fucking horses are killing machines by themselves. Add a sharp horn and you have a bigger threat. Add magic to that horn and BAM! Look at that bacon sizzle!
avatar
- Reply
PinkBallons: @Franky_Whiskey: To be fair, these are cartoon horses with dull horns that are also around 4 feet tall, but I see your point. If she wanted, she could probably catch that OC on fire with a simple spell, or just as easily kick his face in.

Not that this pic is great or anything, but can't people just do whatever the fuck they want without people losing their shit? I mean really, it's just a picture on a rule 34 site for fuck's sake. Why click on the damn thing if you know damn well that it'll piss you off?

monsparkle: As long as it's good porn, I clop to it. It's better if it's canon characters, but as long as it's hot and well made I don't complain about OCs.

Anonymous8: The butthurt here is hilarious. These posters are trolling themselves, lol.

Anonymous9(8): Actually, I'll say one more thing.
@Anonymous3: You realize, of course, that you have no more right to tell people what to do than those that dislike rule 34 have a right to tell people not to create it.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to say right now to anyone that wants to draw any kind of porn that might offend someone; do it. Who gives a shit what some random thin-skinned babies on the internet think? If they don't like it, then you can just tell them to ignore it, and if they don't like you, then you can bask in the fact that you don't know them and probably never will. The mildew in your sink should bear more importance to you than these crybabies ever will.

PinkBallons: @Anonymous9(8): Yeah, because that isn't an entirely selfish way of thinking. It's that kind of thought process that creates the ceaseless army of trolls that plague the four corners of internet, doing nothing but harm wherever they go.
- Reply
Anonymous10(8): @PinkBallons: You do realize that this is the exact same argument that people use against rule 34. It doesn't stand up there and it doesn't stand up now because no one is getting hurt from this. If you don't like it, it's not that hard to avoid it.
- Reply
Anonymous11: goddamn furfaggots, napalm strike plz

- Reply
PinkBallons: @Anonymous10(8): Rule 34 is, however, not selfish; that's obvious by the number of people that frequent this site. But OC's are. They are the representation of a fan, a character that only the creator of said OC gives any fucks about. No, it isn't physically harming anyone, but this is the internet; NOTHING here is capable of that.
- Reply
Anonymous12(8): @PinkBallons: Selfishness as you have defined it is not inherently bad. Selfishness is only bad if it favors one's own interests at the expense of others, assuming that there is another more ethical path. Acting in one's own best interests to maximize one's own happiness is what is occurring here and is not detrimental to the well-being of others, therefore there is nothing wrong with it. It is neither unethical or immoral and, in fact, is an efficient course of action as it increases the artist's happiness. It is in fact those that needlessly view images that they dislike that are acting inefficiently and have the most power to improve their own happiness, which can be done by actively seeking what they like and avoiding what they dislike, therefore it is their responsibility to do so and no other should be held at fault when they fail to do so.

PinkBallons: @Anonymous12(8): I agree with most of that completely. If an artist wants to create porn of their OC, or is commissioned to create porn of another's OC, they have every right to do so. But why post it on the internet in the first place? If they just stopped to think about it for a few seconds, surely the fact that this particular work only appeals to a very slim, practically nonexistent audience would come to mind.
- Reply
Anonymous13(8): @PinkBallons: I cannot entirely disagree with questioning the wisdom of uploading it, though I do not render judgement without having considerable information regarding the artist. In my experience, the furry fandom appears to rather enjoy not only their own but others' OCs as well. Because of this, I do think it would have been more efficient to upload it to a site focused more on the furry fandom, though I suppose it would have inevitably ended up here anyway.

moximoore: People hate OCs because it ruins THEIR fantasy of screwing said fictional character.

Like when the camera guy zooms in on a guys fuck face in straight porn. Or the guy won't shut the fuck up through the entire scene. (Wesley Pipes)

Anonymous14: @CorniAL: You're offended because a furry character is more confident than you heuaheauaegaetga
- Reply
Anonymous15(14): I don't like it because
a) it doesn't respect the world of FiM
b) it's obviously fap material the guy commissioned for himself and has no real artistic value
c) it's hardly arousing to cloppers or decent furries due to its content
d) and the anatomy is awful
If two of these problems are not found on a picture, I'm most likely fine with it.
