Wow I do a lot of nudes...
I cant help but notice that a LOT of what Ive been doing is female nudes. I didnt exactly INTEND for that to be the case, but a number of factors led to that...
1) I like girls... a LOT. I personally think the female form is the most beautiful thing in the world.
2) Figure drawing is both artistically interesting to me as well as easy. Im not usually inspired to do something super involved and painting is pretty time consuming so I save that for when I have a really unique idea in mind.
3) Often I just dont know what to do. I Dont have anything particularly inspiring to do. Usually I just want to play with lines shadows and curves and the female body is a perfect candidate for such casual sketching.
I do feel like I need to some other things though. But its hard to break away from something so beautiful, fun to draw and accesible 🤔 perhaps Ill soon come up with something more... "thematic" to paint... or even do some pastels again!
Dump day!!
So today Ill be uploading a lot of my works over the last many months to kick off the start of my new artistic career. I Don't see me having the spoons to actually get them all properly described and tagged though so Ill just be adding that in in the coming days. Today is just about throwing the gallery up here. So if anyone happens across my gallery before I do that, yes... I will be elaborating more in the very near future.
