Anonymous4: This is scanned from a comic book. Specifically Darin Brown's "Robin and Cindy Comix", issue #1, published by Radio Comics.
It's a good read, if you like wacky adult humor, especially the D&D segment. It's all kinda like this.
Anonymous7: Since this is tagged as DF, Toady's female dorfs are not hirsute, but he leaves the code to add beards and other facial hair as a comment, in recognition of the large numbers of bearded dwarven ladies.
Anonymous10: It depends on the dwarf. DnD dwarves do or don't have beards depending on the edition.
World of Warcraft they have no beards, though, sometimes like to put in little jokes that the PRETTIEST of dwarven females have beards and are usually highly regarded.
...but the sideburns are kinda cute.

Depends on world and setting
Could go either way, unless you are using a tileset.

I'm not sure about 2nd Edition, but 3rd edition and onwards female dwarves didn't have beards.
As for other settings I'm not sure, but I do know that in World of Warcraft they don't have beards as well.
I'll look up this Robin and Cindy comix; looks like it could be interesting ^_^
