Rustecean is a fascinating and vital inhabitant of the ocean's depths, renowned for its role in maintaining balance within underwater ecosystems. It thrives in some of the harshest and most polluted environments, where it scavenges relentlessly to purify its surroundings. Its iron exoskeleton, which constantly rusts and degrades due to its aquatic habitat, is both its shield and its tool, providing it with unmatched durability and power. As it grows, Rustecean molts regularly, shedding its old, rusted armor in a process that leaves behind a sleek, pristine shell. True to its efficient nature, it consumes its discarded exoskeleton, reclaiming the vital metals needed to strengthen and reinforce its new armor.

Beyond its self-recycling behavior, Rustecean is drawn to large waste deposits that sink to the ocean floor, such as shipwrecks, industrial debris, or the remains of fallen Pokémon. Using its massive, serrated claws and sharp mandibles, it methodically breaks down metal, bone, and other materials, devouring them to sustain itself. Its highly adaptive digestive system is capable of neutralizing even the most toxic and decayed matter, rendering it harmless and preventing the spread of pollution or disease. This natural immunity to poisons and its ability to thrive in polluted waters make Rustecean a vital part of its ecosystem, ensuring the seabed remains healthy and free of harmful waste.
