This little blinky graphic was needed as a background detail for the bodega's arcade game in the recent animatic I made.
For those keeping score with decades-old lore, this is the "Celebrity" character, since named "Kitty Danger".
>She looks like this. (2014)
>And this.
>And this.
>And also this
>with process
>in stages
>from the beginning
>And maybe some fan art I made for myself.
>Because I'm a sucker for my own art.
>These images are from the Obama administration.
"LUDO FINITA" is "GAME OVER" in Esperanto.
"Persisto" is Esperanto for "Continue?", the pun of her purring it was irresistible to me because old school furries like puns.
The recent animatic I made was accused of being "AI slop", which is **wild** to me and more than a little disheartening.
Perhaps it's the shitty animation, since I'm not really an animator and just slide things around.
The few moments of frame-to-frame stuff I made were profoundly difficult for me, and is at the very edge of what I can do.
I'm making it to help me cope with how scary the world is right now, and it's helping me process my feelings about it that.
I'm going to keep working on it anyway, because that need hasn't changed for me.
But I am reminded that making art and sharing art are different activities.
EDIT: Because I wasn't exactingly clear. None of this was made with AI. I just assumed the smudgy pixelly messiness made it obvious Chris Is Doing This By Himself and Is Keeping It Loose and Messy To Get It Done Because The Impressionists Said It Was Okay to Be Messy 200 Years Ago. Perhaps I should stick a few frames in the beginning with a NO AI disclaimer.
